How the rating works
The Padelada rating is a number from 0 to 7, like the usual padel level. It changes after every game that counts and it is verified by the players themselves: only what all four confirm goes in.
Every set counts on its own
It is not just whether you won, but by how much. A 6-4 set is 60% of the games in your favour. Games won against stronger opponents count for more; losing to stronger opponents costs you almost nothing.
An unfinished set counts too
If court time runs out at 2-3, that set still counts — but with less weight: the fewer games played, the less it matters. A 2-3 set weighs half as much as a 6-4.
How a game gets into the rating
After “End”, the player who kept the score shows a QR code. The other three scan it within an hour — that is how they confirm the score. If all four scan and nobody disputes, it counts. If anyone is missing, the game stays in everyone’s My games but does not count for the rating. Tournaments need no QR: each court’s score is confirmed in the tournament.
Provisional rating
For your first 10 sets (with at least four different opponents) your rating is provisional: it moves faster to find your real level quickly. It starts from your Playtomic level or your answers to three simple questions. After 10 sets your rating becomes verified.
Fair play
All four players need a real photo and name. The QR changes every 30 seconds, so it can only be scanned on court — a screenshot will not work. New accounts and the same four people again and again have less effect. We review suspicious cases by hand. We do not publish the details of the protection, so nobody can get around it.
If you disagree with the score
Tap “Dispute” within the hour. First ask the Referee: it answers by the FIP rules and both sides see the same answer. If you still disagree, the Padelada team decides and everyone sees the decision and the reason.
