A private tournament in five minutes

Who it is for: anyone organising an Americano or Mexicano for their group.

What you will get: a tournament that players can join themselves through a link.

  1. Start. Games tab → “Run a tournament” → “Private tournament”.

  2. Format and time. Americano or Mexicano, day, start time and duration. Next time, the app suggests your previous time.

  3. Club and courts. If you have run tournaments before, the club is preselected. For a different one, tap “Other club” and start typing its name. Enter the number of courts.

  4. Rounds and partners. The app suggests a round count. The default pairing is “Balance”: stronger and weaker players are distributed evenly. The default scoring rule is “Punto de oro”; you can change it.

  5. Create. The tournament dashboard opens; you manage everything from here.

If something goes wrong

  • The club is missing from search. Add it; you only need to complete its details once.
